Change starts with local heroes tackling plastic pollution

Plastic Collective Foundation supports community-led solutions to plastic pollution.

Our reason for being

Plastic Collective Foundation is a registered not‑for‑profit organisation focused on empowering communities to tackle plastic pollution.

We deliver training, education, mentoring, and practical support, and operate as the non‑profit arm of Plastic Collective. We ensure grassroots action is connected to broader systems change.

The communities leading change

Across the world, people closest to plastic pollution are already creating solutions. We support those protecting land, sea, and livelihoods every day.

Our local heroes

Local heroes are the individuals within communities who step forward, often without resources, recognition, or protection to do the hardest work first.

They organise cleanups, protect coastlines, sort waste by hand, and turn plastic into livelihoods.

Through our Local Heroes Mentoring Program, we back these individuals with mentors, tools, and knowledge to strengthen their leadership and help their impact grow.

Join a collective effort

Local heroes are already protecting their communities from plastic pollution.

Together, we can help their leadership go further.

Your donation strengthens education, mentoring, and practical support so community-led solutions can grow and last.
